Collection season and festive changes
The 2026 season runs for 36 weeks from 17 March to 20 November, with fortnightly collections. Address calendars can vary slightly.
Container options
£40 first bin Additional subscribed bins cost £25 each. Up to five bins The first subscription includes one 240-litre brown bin. Garden waste should go directly into the bin without bags.
Renewal and service dates
The first 240-litre brown bin costs £40 a year and each extra bin costs £25, up to five bins. The subscription does not renew automatically.
Concessions and payment support
The full amount is paid in one instalment and the checked service does not publish a standard concession. Existing assisted collections continue.

What can go in the garden-waste container?
Accepted
Grass cuttings, leaves, flowers, plants, weeds, hedge trimmings, prunings, twigs and suitable small branches.
Not accepted
Food waste, soil, rubble, stones, plastic bags, plant pots, pet waste and household rubbish.
