What can go in the container?
Accepted
Garden waste suitable for Caerphilly’s reusable sack service, including grass cuttings, leaves, weeds, flowers and manageable hedge or plant trimmings.
Not accepted
Food waste, household rubbish, plastic bags, soil, rubble, stones and material that is unsafe or unsuitable for the reusable sacks.
Extra guidance
An initial or replacement reusable garden-waste sack costs £4. The council has considered a future seasonal fortnightly service, so check current guidance before presenting waste.
