Buckinghamshire’s garden-waste subscription costs £65 a year and provides fortnightly collections, with a six-week winter suspension from mid-December to late January.

Using the service
- Check the official council page before subscribing or presenting waste.
- Keep all accepted material inside the correct garden-waste container.
- Use the council collection service for current dates and disruption notices.
- Do not contaminate garden waste with bags, soil, rubble or household rubbish.
What can go in the container?
Accepted
Grass clippings, leaves, tree and hedge cuttings, small branches up to 10 centimetres, non-noxious weeds, dead plants, flowers and fallen fruit.
Not accepted
Plastic bags, compostable liners, food waste, paper, cardboard, animal litter, timber, soil, turf, stones, rubble and harmful weeds.
Extra guidance
Each extra bin subscription also costs £65 a year. A subscription lasts one year from the signup date.
