Brent’s garden-waste subscription costs £69 a year. Green bins and bio sacks are collected every two weeks from March to November and monthly from December to February.

Using the service
- Check the official council page before subscribing or presenting waste.
- Keep all accepted material inside the correct garden-waste container.
- Use the council collection service for current dates and disruption notices.
- Do not contaminate garden waste with bags, soil, rubble or household rubbish.
What can go in the container?
Accepted
Grass cuttings, hedge trimmings, leaves, flowers, plants, weeds, twigs and suitable small branches.
Not accepted
Food waste, cardboard packaging, plant pots, trays, plastic bags, large trunks or logs, soil, rocks and stones.
