Collection season and festive changes

The 2026/27 annual service runs from 1 June 2026 to 31 May 2027. Use the live collection calendar for festive arrangements and check the delayed-collections page during disruption.

Container options

Each brown garden-waste bin needs its own subscription, with up to four bins allowed. Mark the bin with the house number or name and street name, present it at the agreed point and avoid overweight or contaminated loads.

Renewal and service dates

The 2026/27 charge is £53 per bin. Direct Debit renews automatically; card payers needed to renew by 25 May for continuity, and joining late receives no discount or refund.

Concessions and payment support

The checked service does not publish a means-tested concession. The same £53 charge applies to each subscribed bin and for late joining.

If your garden-waste collection is missed

Check the basics. Check the live delayed-collections list first and leave the bin out if crews are returning. Otherwise check for a sticker explaining non-collection and report through the current missed-bin route.
Use the official reporting route. Reporting windows differ, so follow the live council instructions rather than waiting for the next collection.
